A great place to be born

At Tri Valley Health System, fathers and families can be at the mother's side while awaiting the birth of their baby. Our spacious yet private labor and delivery suite allows families to spend the entire labor process in one location.

But that’s not the only reason to have your baby at Tri Valley. Another one is experience – our certified obstetric nurses have helped deliver literally hundreds of babies and we have the equipment and facilities to get you and your baby get off to a great start.

The Tri Valley OB department is also ready to help both before and after your baby arrives. Our modern ultrasound system helps us keep an eye on the growing fetus, and childbirth, baby care and Lamaze classes are offered throughout the year. After your baby is born, well baby checks help keep him or her healthy during the first months of life.

A word about car seats

Car seats are required for babies and young children and are a vital tool in reducing traffic deaths and injuries. However, getting them properly installed and adjusted can be a trial.
